Combined efforts made gala show a resounding success

The passion and fire of a Theth pahadi show held at B k dutt colony, a cultural show made up of a band of folk musicians,folk artists, all with different styles and sounds, yet all united in purpose, feeling and inspiration; these are some of the influences and charms of the Sunday uttarakhandi gala show jointly organized by "Creative Uttarakhand ,myor pahad" and "myor uttarakhand" group .

The show was started around 2:00 clock at Snatan mandir B K dutt colony ,around 500 people were gathered there, the show was started with the ritual of deep prajwallan by honorary member Mr Ajay Sharma, SHRI B. B. JOSHI ,Mahesh Chand followed by worship song of Golu devta "the god of justness of uttarakhand" sung by the Creative Uttarakhand troupe and then the choliya dance a spectacular sword dance with the beat of traditional instruments, by myor uttarakhand artist Claded in traditional clothes carrying music instruments such as dhol-dhamau, ransingha, turhi and masakbin. Thereafter the young and talented artist diwesh along with komal performed a folk dance on 'Kamla o kamla…', this song-cum-dance greatly regaled the audience. The other performances by Dayal and Manju Pandey along with Himani joshi on "Sotta ki Baata", Bhuwan Giri on "badda ki debuli" , Shweta Bhatt little champ of Uttarakhand on "Pahad ki cheli" , sanju pahadi with his rocking style on "ek nani re…" , Dhan Singh on "Saruli mero Jiya laagi" and Rajendra Bisht, added fresh colors to the show.

Well-known folk singer and poet shree Heera Singh Rana sent felicitations to the Young and energetic member of CU and MU group through his famous song "AA lili bakari lili....", "lashka kamar bandnhaa….", and few other famous songs, His song "lashka kamar bandhaa…" greatly enthralled the audience. The beats of traditional instrument of uttarakhand and the lively and vibrating performance of artists inspired the audience to dance and sing. Following dignitaries of Uttarakhand also graced the occasion: SHRI B. B. JOSHI, Shri Charu Tewari "Editor Sunday post" ,Shri Chandan Dangi "Senior Manager", Shri Prem Sundariyal ,Shri Dataram Chamoli "Journalist", Shri Veerndra Shah "Parvatiya Kala Kendra" ,Shri Umesh Pandey ,Shri Ranjeet Singh Rana The music on stage was co-ordinated by Senior artist Ramesh joshi with with Shekhar Sharma, Diwesh, Dayal Pandey and Sanju Pahadi and the stage was anchored and managed by Anubhav Upadhyay and Bawarii .
