Profile: I am a Kumaoni guy from the district Nainital in Uttarakhand. I feel very happy to be associated with Myor Pahad since last 2 years. I studied in various schools of Almora .I speak the best possible Kumaoni. Our Uttarakhand is very good and beautiful. We have very simple, politically mature and very good people. I am living in Japan at present; everybody here around me now loves the beauty of Uttaranchal. I must thank to Google earth for this favor. Like everybody in Pahad, I also have many ideas for the progress of our place but I am also lazy. I hope this website; will help the persons in need. I thank Sailesh Uperti for such nice creative work, which you always do. Hope we all will work together and contribute our amount for the benefit of people, specially the students. Jai Golu Devta |

| Profile:
I am Seed Ecologist and down to earth Kumauni guy from village Pilkholi (on the way to Ranikhet from Nainital, where most of you guys pay toll tax). Now my parents stalled in Nainital. I did schooling from my own village and UG, PG from Nainital, Ph.D. from FRI DehraDun and first Postdoc from VUB Belgium. Recently, I have been appointed as Asst. Professor (Lecturer) in HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar. Presently, I am on study leave and living in Hokkaido to work on conservation and regeneration ecology of beautiful flowering plant from our own Uttarakhand known as Giant Himalayan Lily. So in real sense, I am true Uttarakhandi born and grown-up in Kumaun and now working for Garhwal University. During my Ph.D., I travelled extensively in Garhwal. Still I am very much enthusiastic in exploring biodiversity of Higher Himalayas. I am very much fluent in Kumauni especially in Ranikhetian and Nainitalian tunes and easily understand Garhwali too. I like Pahadi culture and music - both from Kumaun (for lyrics) and Garhwal (for music). I am very much fond to pahadi Bansuri (flute). I am crazy for Pahadi dance and Pahadi cuisine specially Gohut-ek and Bhatt-ek Dubuk.
I feel very proud to be associated with Myor Pahad and would like to contribute something meaningful for our Uttarakhand. |

Profile:
I belong to Saat Ratube Village of Begeshwar district but born and grown-up in Merrut where my parents stalled parentally. After marriage I got lifetime opportunity to live in Pahad with my husband. I did schooling and graduation from Merrut, presently I am putting up in Japan with my husband (Shyam) and son (Kushagra) and working in Mathematics Department of Hokkaido University, Sapporo. Like my husband, I also love our culture and music, I never lived in Pahad though. I am fluent in Kumauni and good in cooking some Kumauni food stuff.
For betterment and progress of Myor Pahad I would like to join hand with other troupe members along with my husband. |
